Musician Application

Thank you for your interest in performing at the Burlington Farmers Market!

We are seeking bluegrass, Americana, country performances - no full drum kits (snare drum only).

Each market day we have two slots available for one opener and one headliner performance. Headliner slots are extremely competitive, and we will not be able to offer all who express interest the opportunity to perform.

Schedule

• Opener load in time: 9-10am

• Opener set time: 10-10:45am

• Headliner load in: 10:45-11:30am

• Headliner 1st set: 11:30-12:15pm

• Headliner break: 12:15-12:45pm

• Headliner 2nd set: 12:45-1:30pm

Compensation

Openers - each performer will receive $15 in tokens to spend at the market in addition to tips. We encourage self-promotion and seen those that do make upwards of $100/hr. 

Headliners - compensation varies according to the number of people in the group: 

- Solo acts: $200

- Duos: $250

- Groups of 3 or more: $300

PA System

All performers have access to our PA system. You have the choice to use our equipment or bring your own.

Parking

Each group will be allowed to park one vehicle ONLY at the market lot. If you're in a group with lots of gear, we recommend you transfer everything into one vehicle prior to your arrival at market. Find other parking options here.
